Browse and extract ZIP archives in the browser - nothing uploads
The zip archive extractor works like this: it opens ZIP archives with WebAssembly decompression (fflate), lists every entry with its size, previews text files and extracts any file individually. Everything happens on your device - the input never leaves your tab unless the tool clearly states it performs a server-side lookup.
| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| A 120 MB zip of logs | Instant file list, text previews, selective extraction - no upload |
Files never leave your device - PDF and archive processing runs entirely in this browser tab.
Password-protected archives are reported as unreadable - the browser API does not attempt password recovery.
ZIP only for now - those formats need different decompressors and are on the roadmap.
Standard ZIP archives, including ones with nested folders - every entry is listed with its size and modifiable paths intact.
Yes - text files preview inline, and any single entry can be extracted alone, which is the safe way to pull one file from a large archive.
