Open .eml email archives with headers, body and attachments - locally
The eml file viewer works like this: it parses .eml email archives (RFC 822/MIME) in the browser: decoded headers, plain-text and HTML body views, and listed attachments you can save individually. Everything happens on your device - the input never leaves your tab unless the tool clearly states it performs a server-side lookup.
| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| An exported email with 2 attachments | Full message readable, attachments extractable - no mail client needed |
The .eml file is parsed entirely on your device. Emails can contain tracking pixels - the rendered view blocks remote content by default.
Scripts and event handlers are stripped before rendering; images load remotely only if you let them. The file itself never uploads.
Multipart messages carry both formats; some senders (banks especially) ship text-only to defeat phishing look-alikes.
The raw RFC-822/MIME message - headers, body parts and attachment blobs. This viewer decodes all of it locally and shows the message as the sender's mail client would.
Yes - every attachment is listed with its filename and size, and each can be downloaded separately without opening the message in a mail client.
