Split any URL into protocol, host, path, query parameters and fragment
The url parser works like this: it breaks a URL into protocol, credentials, host, port, path, query parameters and fragment, using the browser's own URL parser. Everything happens on your device - the input never leaves your tab unless the tool clearly states it performs a server-side lookup.
| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| https://user@example.com:8443/a/b?q=1&r=2#top | Every component listed, each query parameter decoded in a table |
The URL you check is fetched once so the tool can read pages that block cross-origin browser requests. No browsing history is stored, and nothing from your own device is transmitted.
Query strings encode silently-dangerous things: duplicated parameters, tracking IDs, encoded redirects. The parser surfaces all of them deterministically.
Protocol, username/password, host, port, path, every query parameter as a key-value list, and the fragment - using the same parsing engine browsers use, so edge cases behave identically.
Every occurrence is listed separately, as sent - because servers can legitimately read repeats, collapsing them would hide real behaviour.
