Generate TypeScript interfaces from JSON
The json to typescript works like this: it generates TypeScript interfaces from sample JSON, inferring types, optionality and nested structure. Everything happens on your device - the input never leaves your tab unless the tool clearly states it performs a server-side lookup.
| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| {"name":"Ada","tags":[],"meta":{"x":1}} | interface Root { name: string; tags: string[]; meta: { x: number; }; } |
All parsing and transformation happens locally in this tab - your code and data are not sent anywhere.
When you provide multiple JSON samples, keys missing from any sample become optional with "?" markers.
When a key appears in some records but not others, the generated interface marks it optional (?) - matching how real API payloads vary.
Nested objects become their own named interfaces and are referenced by name, so even deep payloads produce a readable set of types rather than one giant inline blob.
