Calculate ideal body weight for your height and frame
What is the Ideal Weight?
The ideal weight works like this: it shows the range of healthy weights for a given height (BMI 18.5-24.9) alongside classic formula estimates from Devine, Robinson, Miller and Hamwi. Everything happens on your device - the input never leaves your tab unless the tool clearly states it performs a server-side lookup.
How to use the Ideal Weight
Enter the values the calculator asks for.
Double-check the unit or period next to each field (per month vs per year, cm vs m).
Read the result together with the breakdown shown beneath it.
Adjust one input at a time to compare scenarios side by side.

Frequently asked questions
Why do the formulas disagree?
Each was derived from different populations decades ago; the BMI range is the more defensible modern reference, and frame size shifts it.
Is the healthy range the same for athletes?
No - heavily muscled people sit above the BMI-derived band while carrying little fat. Use body-fat percentage for that case rather than any weight-for-height formula.
