Add or subtract days from a date calculator
The add days works like this: it adds or subtracts days, weeks, months or years from a date, handling month-end and leap-year edge cases. Everything happens on your device - the input never leaves your tab unless the tool clearly states it performs a server-side lookup.
| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| 31 Jan + 1 month | 28 Feb (29 Feb in leap years) - never 3 Mar |
Date math runs locally in your browser.
Calendar months have unequal lengths; the convention lands on the last valid day of the next month.
The result clamps to the month's last day (Jan 31 + 1 month becomes Feb 28 or 29) - the convention date libraries and legal deadlines both expect.
Yes - Feb 29 exists in leap years and is counted when it falls inside the range, including the century-matching rule most people never meet (2100 is not a leap year).
